Child Check-Mate Systems Inc., is a Canadian School Bus Safety Company who has developed and patented a unique alarm system which acts as an electronic reminder to drivers. This reminder helps ensure that all children have safely disembarked the vehicle upon the completion of each run.
The system was designed "by drivers for drivers". It was the collaborative efforts of these drivers, a concerned operator, and talented bus mechanic which made the idea a reality.
Since 1993 the Child Check-Mate System continues to endure some of North America's harshest weather conditions proving itself both as a reliable investment to operators and as an extremely valuable safety aid to the drivers who use it.

In the school bus business as an owner/operator since 1982, Gord knows firsthand the importance Child Check-Mate System plays in the safety of his passengers. After an incident on one of his own buses in 1992, Gord was prompted to ask himself what could be done to better protect his passengers.
With the technical knowledge provided by partner Allan Lowe, they developed what has since become the system of choice across North America. Proud father of three and married twenty seven years to his wife Kathleen who has herself grown up in the industry and has been instrumental in the success of Child Check-Mate. Gord and Kathleen reside in the small farming community of Navan Ontario and continue to operate a fleet of school buses. |

A career technician and trainer for a major city transit authority Allan's vast knowledge of electrical systems gave him the tools he needed for Child Check-Mate to develop and patent the Child Check-Mate System. From the moment Allan was given the task to come up with a working model he has dedicated his time to ensure that only the best system is available to his customers.
Allan's persistence combined with his attention to detail is what sets the Child Check-Mate System above all others. Living in Cumberland Ontario with his wife Deborah, they are proud parents of two children. Deborah has managed the shipping department and receiving department of Child Check-Mate system since it's inception. |
